Das Joshi of the Union Ministry of Food Processing Industries, the state is aligning its local initiatives with national objectives to modernize the rural economy.

Chief Secretary V. Srinivas highlighted that the primary goal of this policy shift is to ensure that farmers receive better remuneration for their produce.
